Wig’s Word of God Today 5-8-2012

With prayer and fasting they commended them to the LORD in whom they had come to believe. Acts 14:23b

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. John 14:27

Acts 14:19-28, Psalm 145 & John 14:27-31

Our passage in Acts today describes Paul being stoned and dragged out of the city where the Disciples think he is dead but he gets up and goes with them back into the city. In the Free Will of God’s Divine Plan for Paul, he learns to offer up prayer and fasting to not only teach the Good News but to overcome mistake, hardships and confusion. Paul realized that “it is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.”

We all make mistakes we are trying to overcome as we grow in age and wisdom where we experience things that we ultimately regret. These can range from the smallest of mistakes to the largest of sins where we let on ego get in the way and forget to put God first. By trusting in Christ’s own words of peace, we can learn to overcome even the least bit of fright or troubles learning as we grow to replace anger with reconciliation.

Take my mistake last week of being frustrated with a piece of lawn equipment. As I finished some lawn work, I pulled out my leaf blower and tried to crank it up. It wouldn’t start for nothing. Instead of just putting it down, I let anger get in my way and pulled it countless times in about a five-minute span. My anger caused me to tear a muscle in my right forearm causing seven days later a trip to the Emergency Room after two sleepless nights of sever aching pain to be relieved. As my arm continues to throb today and pain meds made me sleep in a state of recovery past my normal writing times, I encourage you all to learn from the mistake of anger and let Christ’s Peace control your world. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to replace our anger with Your Son’s Peace and healing. We pray for my children. I pray a prayer of thanksgiving for Father Paul’s genuine concern and friendship. I pray a prayer of help LORD to allow me fast healing in my arm. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-7-2012

They preached the good news. Acts 14:7

Anyone who loves Me will keep My Word, and My Father will love him, and We shall come to him and make a home in him. The Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you. John 14:23/26

Acts 14:5-18, Psalm 115 & John 14:21-26

Acts 14:7 is one verse- One Truth, “They preached the Good News.” God makes it so simple sometimes yet so full of life to evolve our surrender to finding the strength through the Holy Spirit to simply preach the Good News. It’s not very complicated but just in case you find your memory lapsing the Holy Spirit will guide you to include everything God expects you to say to anyone, anytime and anywhere. You just have to trust His guidance in by your practice, prayer and preaching.

What seems so difficult today will transpire to ease and enjoyment tomorrow as you find yourself talking more and more about God to family, friends and strangers alike. Allow God to use you in sharing His Good News of life to a mother in need. Seek out the man who has nothing and see the eyes of Christ in his simpleness. Somewhere in your neighborhood or home surroundings is an elderly man or woman who has need of hearing the Good News by your actions of faith, hope and love. Preaching the Good News is more than words, it is a commitment to being a person of God in deed as well as words. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to preach the Good News by the Fire of the Holy Spirit in our heart. We pray for my children. We pray You never relieve the burning sensation in the center of our hearts to live only for You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-6-2012

Children, our love must be not just words or mere talk, but something active and genuine. First John 3:18

Every branch in Me that bears no fruit He cuts away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes to make it bear even more. John 15:2

Acts 9:26-31, Psalm 22, First John 3:18-24 & John 15:1-8

Jesus uses His Disciple John to describe today something I encountered as I was actively praying yesterday in two different locations of South Florida including Fort Lauderdale and Miami. These two instances reflect the pruning we receive when you seek every aspect of bearing fruit for His Father’s glory. In less than two hours, I encountered two separate God-instances that swept me away in the Spirit to accomplish His Will. The first was in Fort Lauderdale where I choose an active prayer point on the corner of Federal Highway and Oakland Park Boulevard.

Last year I wrote about my Prayer Point ministry that I created where I took a 15-foot flagpole with an American flag and a POW flag and attached a three-foot-by-three-foot sign that reads “Prayer Point- Stop and Pray for the USA.” Once a week on Saturday morning you’ll normally see me with the sign in front of the abortion mill on 117^th Ave and Sunset praying with an active rosary vigil group for the babies dying that has been going there now for almost seven years. Every so often, I use the sign too at different locations in the city to stop and pray to passer bys sometimes encountering extraordinary prayer warriors for God’s Truth.

Yesterday her name was Melanie and I would describe her as a woman in her 70’s short with a grey ponytail simple white skirt and shirt donning a light blue scarf wrapped around her head. At first, she just nodded as I said “God Bless You” stopping near me waiting to cross a very busy intersection seemingly focused on her route. I will often kneel when praying in a Teebowing sort of way and I kneeled after she walked by and refocused on my prayers when within one minute she startled me with a tap of her hand on my shoulder asking, “Would you like to pray with you?” Looking up I witnessed a glow around her head as she smiled at me with these twinkling blue eyes as I replied, “I’d be honored to pray with you.” Standing up and gripping my flagpole in my right arm, I reached out and held hands with her praying aloud.

When I finished, she looked at me and said, “If you were to die right now, do you believe you would go to heaven when God asks why you deserve to be let in?” I replied, “I am a sinner not worthy to enter Your Kingdom LORD and only by the Blood of Your Son has my sins been wiped away. By my belief in His Sacrificial Redemption I am offered His Promise of Eternal Life in Heaven.” She smiled and said, “God Bless you” shaking my hand turning to walk the crosswalk at perfect timing to catch the light. When I looked up a few seconds later smiling to see where she was going, she was gone heading South down US 1 out-of-sight as if she had vanished in thin air. I said aloud “Thank You Jesus” rejoicing aloud in a song in my heart.

The second was a homeless man I met at Tropical Park on Bird Road. I saw him on a corner where I was unable to stop because of an off ramp at 826 green light. I yelled to him to come find me a Tropical Park because I had some shoes and clothes for him. About 15 minutes later, he walked by my Prayer Point and I asked him if he needed any shoes or clothes. His tanned dirty face was smiling a mile wide was shaking his head yes and we walked over to my “Trunk of Comfort.” After giving him some new perfect fitting shoes and clothes, I prayed with him by holding his shoulders making the Sign of the Cross on his forehead when I finished saying may God Bless you looking into eyes of tears rolling down his cheeks.

Finally, I then offered him my open arms in a hug when we were finished praying and he responded with the tightest love-held hug I feel every time my wife and I hug- it was Christ-felt and pure. The only difference is my wife has a smell of Heaven not a stench of living in hell on the streets. He walked away overjoyed as I continued my Prayer Point location in thankful prayer for the Child of God I had just prayed with. Jesus will use us as His Disciples just as He taught and shared His Truth with Saint John. Find out how His Truth can be shared in an active and genuine way as the Father prunes your branches to create fruit that is more delicious. Amen.

God shears away the branches

Those not producing fruit

Pruning the branches of deed

His Disciples were pruned

Christ’s Word of guts

He spoke to remain in Him

As He remains in all of us

Without His Word

We are nothing to be

In His Word

Much fruit to seed

All branches pruned

For lack of use

Gathered and burnt

In a fire of truce

The ceasing of your preaching

Because My Words are not in you

If you glorify My Father

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-5-2012

So they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium. The Disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:51-52

You must believe Me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; or at least believe it on the evidence of these Works. John 14:11

Acts 13:44-52, Psalm 98 & John 14:7-14

Sometimes we let our pride and envy get in the way when it comes to establishing and promoting the Word of God when people embrace their selfish ways and baulk at your sharing of Christ’s Truth. We may attempt to go toe-to-toe with them so to speak and end up trying to force the Word of God down their throats. We must learn to “shake the dust from (our) feet” (see Luke 9:5 and Matthew 10:14) and hope God’s messengers will share the Good News in God’s Time and not our own.

Jesus had warned the Disciples of people who are lost and confused filled with selfish desires of flesh who would rebuke them shutting out the Way wondering in the shadows of sin. Paul learned early on he would have celebrations of success combined with bouts of humility. It takes more to back away than it does to brawl with your ego. I struggle sometimes to get this point across to people I meet because the Word of God gives me such feelings of potency while God reminds us to be filled meekness granting an unassuming nature. Savoring the taste of a good slice of humble pie goes a long way in the midst of dusty surroundings filling the air as you walk away.

Jesus time-and-time again taught us to have faith in His example of His Omnipotence giving us the power to simply believe. He commands us to understand we can do greater works than He by trusting in His gift of Salvation where faith, hope and love becomes the inner and outer you. “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, or else, believe because of the Works themselves.” John 14:11 Learning to “Let Go and Let God” is tough to do especially when outer desires of the heart get in the way. Only by practice, prayer and preaching can one establish a life in Christ to accomplish the Will of God. Your works will be greater than His by the accepting and living His Truth. Amen.

Dear Father, we pray to shake our dust off with humility to mimic Your Son. We pray for my children to find Christ’s Way to forgive and connect our hearts in love. I pray You relieve the pain I have in my side LORD but continue the burning sensation in the center of my heart to live only for You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Paul and Barnabas gathered the whole city

To hear the Word of God so eternally pretty

The Jews became Jealous violent and giddy

As Paul and Barnabas spoke the nitty gritty

The Word of God was spoken first

Leaving them aching for God’s Eternal thirst

Rejected by you condemned to not know Eternal Life

We turn to the Gentiles to share God’s Light

The Gentiles celebrated God’s Redemption Plan

Glorifying the Word of God high above in hand

Spreading the Good News throughout the entire land

As the Jews incited women of prominence to expel Christ’s fans

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-4-2012

We have come here to tell you the Good News that the Promise made to our ancestors has come about. Acts 13:32

You know the Way to the place where I am going. Thomas said, ‘LORD, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus said: ‘I am the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.’ John 14:4-6

Acts 13:26-33, Psalm 2 & John 14:1-6

Wouldn’t you agree that if you have possession of God’s Truth of His Son Christ Jesus in your heart you confer your knowledge and liberation from sin? Paul’s Arrival at Antioch in Pisidia takes him directly to the Synagogue where he shares the Good News of the Promise our ancestors were given regarding the Savior Who would fulfill all Prophets of God’s destined Divine knowledge. A knowledge you enjoy and live everyday of your lives if you believe.

There is only One Who could fulfill this Truth and that’s the One God raised from the dead after living a life of True example. Our doubting Thomas seems confused of where Jesus is going to but Jesus explains the obvious; “I am the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” While it may seem hard to fathom over 2000 years later, Jesus Christ is the only Way to the Father in Heaven and the only One Who can eliminate the sin you have lived and living to open the door to and Eternal Life with Him in heaven above.

In brevity, I seek to share how Jesus has gone to prepare a place for all us Heaven and it is up to you to be His eyes, His hands and feet and His deeds to those you encounter daily. Maybe a co-worker. Maybe a wife or husband. Maybe a son or daughter. I ache when I think of all the years I turned my back on the LORD not sharing His Truth with my children early on. If only they’d see His love in my eyes then maybe they’d see the Truth and sorrow I have in my heart as an apology they’d accept and never forget. Will you use your possession of God’s Truth of His Son to confer the knowledge of liberation of sin to those you meet? Jesus is the ONLY Way to know this liberation of sin. Amen.

Dear God, we pray to always take possession of the knowledge of Christ’s Truth to share the liberation of sin. We pray for my children to find His Way to forgive and connect our hearts in love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-3-2012

In all Truth I tell you, whoever believes in Me will perform the same works as I do Myself, and will perform even greater works, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My Name I will do, so that the Father may be Glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My Name, I will do it. John 14: 12-14

First Corinthians 15:1-8, Psalm 19 &  John 14:6-14

We continue our thoughts today on the Law of Attraction as Jesus explains His Way of seeking the Father’s Glory allows even you and me to find success as a common follower of His Truth. “Whoever believes in Me will perform the same works as I do Myself” is your directive to ask and believe in His grace to find the same ability of success by believing you are living your life for God and not yourself.

You must abandon seeking things for selfish reasons and find only His Purpose for your life in everything you do. I know, it seems hard to do but when you consciously ask for anything in the Name above all names, you will find God’s law of Attraction at work by just believing. It’s rather simple once you find the joy of seeking not your own will but the Will of God by doing the things He Commands us to in practice, prayer and preaching.

Before opening your Bible simply say a prayer of asking Jesus to open your mind, heart and soul in the practice you undertake each day and see the Scriptures as you never have before. When praying, begin by a prayer of thanksgiving for giving you a mind, heart and soul of living for God’s Glory and tell God in your prayer that everything you ask for in His Son’s Precious Name to Glorify God’s Truth. Then begin visualizing your request with Jesus standing with you near it. I don’t care what it is just see Jesus helping you to obtain it and use it for God’s Glory.

Finally, in your sharing of the Good News, do it by asking Jesus to lead you so everything you say comes from the Holy Spirit seeing His Truth as the answer to anyone’s problems or requests. Practice, pray and preach in His Name to attract His Grace of Goodness. Make it a habit to live for Christ in a true surrender to believe and conceive all you desire by trusting you deserve it and then act upon it in living the Three P’s of God’s gift of life. Amen.

Dear Father, we pray to live a life of faith by asking in the Name of Your Son, Christ Jesus, for everything we live for to Glorify You LORD. We pray today that everyone in the United States uses this National Day of Prayer to pray all people use their civic responsibility to Glorify You LORD and get involved with the direction our country needs to live for Your Truth. We pray for my children. Prayer of thanksgiving for Your Soldier in Christ John Lobo. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Word of God continued to spread and to gain followers. Acts 12:24

If anyone hears My Words and does not keep them faithfully, it is not I who shall judge such a person, since I have come not to judge the world, but to save the world: anyone who rejects Me and refuses My Words has his judge already: the Word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. John 12:47-48

Acts 12:24–13:5, Psalm 67 & John 12:44-50

Does anyone understand the Law of Attraction? The belief that if you manifest it in your mind your body will design by faith in asking God to receive the thought, believing you can accomplish the manifestation and ultimately receive the manifestation after your unwavering commitment to accomplish your desired result. The Word of God was spread by this same belief accomplished by just a handful of men who believed with all their heart and soul that God brought Himself to the world as Savior through a Son He had born of Virgin who believed.

We all have this same belief in our minds that we can create God’s graces by using the Law of Attraction for our commitment to faith in God, His Son and the Holy Spirit allowing our lives to be manifested in His Truth. I use it everyday thinking positive thoughts of His Truth in each step I take for I take the Words of Christ to heart when He said in John 12:48, “anyone who rejects Me and refuses My Words has his judge already: the Word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.” To me the Law of Attraction is finding Eternal Life in everything you do living in an attracted state of faith, hope/charity and love.

Today begin visualizing that you deserve the graces of God and trust with an unwavering commitment that God will manifest your true desires of your heart. When you visualize God’s Plan for your life, begin placing things that encourage your commitment such as a Bible that sits near you as you work where you can reach out and touch the Bible often. Or use signs of different Godly passions such as I use on my desk as I write where I have a Holy Spirit sign that reads: “Spirit” and written in the words are “Holy Spirit hear me, lead me and guide me.”

In brevity I hope to share how the Law of Attraction works just as a simple sign that hangs above me that reads: “Believe- When a believing person prays, great things happen.” Attract God in everything you do by your faith in practice of reading your Bible often during the day, your hope in prayer of believing you deserve God’s graces and your voice in proclaiming His Truth to receive the joy of God’s rewards. Amen.

Dear God, we pray to use Your Law of Attraction as our guide in faith, hope and love. We pray for my children. We pray the Pathaks use Your Truth to attract Your grace LORD. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The LORD of Truth cried out often

Asking humanity to listen and hear

His Truth to abundantly guide you

Or follow Satan to find hell to fear

If you believe in Me Christ said aloud

You believe in not only Me but the Father proud

He Who sent Me may rest in a cloud

But resides in everything as a Light is loud

For Jesus came into the world as a Light

To find in darkness to illuminate His Right

Observing My Words as a Creed to follow

Not finding sin in My Words to swallow

Jesus will not condemn for the world is His to save

Whoever rejects His Truth will burn in hell to rave

The Words He spoke will judge at humanity’s grave

Not spoke on His own but by the Father Who gave

He commanded Me what to say

He gave me the Light I proclaim each day

He offers by Me Eternal Life to gain

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-1-2012

There he was glad to see for himself that God had given grace, and he urged them all to remain faithful to the LORD with heartfelt devotion; for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and with faith. Acts 11:23-24a

I give them Eternal Life; they will never be lost and no one will ever steal them from My hand. The Father, for what He has given Me, is greater than anyone, and no one can steal anything from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are One. John 10:28-30

Acts 11:19-26, Psalm 87 & John 10:22-30

Do you have anyone in your life besides me that encourages you in the LORD? Of course many of us have friends we meet with often to discuss God’s presence in our lives but do you have anyone who encourages you in the LORD? Somebody you know who prays for you often who shares their fears and wants with you and speaks openly about Scripture? Maybe it’s your wife or best friend- whoever it is call them right now and say “thank you for encouraging me to be a God-fearing person” and pray with them a prayer of thanksgiving.

Always be thankful and believe in God’s Secret of asking, believing and receiving by an unwavering commitment to live a life for His Truth. Without a doubt, my wife lifts me up in His Truth every day in prayer, encouragement and the reading of God’s Word. She is “filled with the Holy Spirit and with faith” of fervent love for Jesus Christ’s Redeeming love for all humanity. She understands and shares the Omnipotence of God’s Truth knowing He is the One and Eternal God Who is Greater than anyone. There is only one person you can call your soul mate in Christ and Antonia Cruz-Wiggins is God’s gift to me for living a life for His Purpose. Encourage, Evolve and Expect God’s Grace. Amen.

For the Father and I are Eternally One- John 10:22-30

A Feast of Dedication had begun

Winter in Jerusalem with God’s Only Son

Jesus walked the Temple area with a smile

The Jews gathered asking when He’d sit for a while

We are in suspense if You are the Christ

Why must you deny Me when signs should suffice

Still you do not believe after sharing God’s advice

Only in the Father’s Name do I heal the contrite

My sheep hear My voice and follow with flair

I give them Eternal Life to live without care

They shall never perish by loving God’s Word they dare

For living in Truth glorifies the Father to share

My Father is greater than all

Not a passing façade of fun to fall

He is My Truth to be eternally won

For the Father and I are Eternally One

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-30-2012

I realized then that God was giving them the identical gift He gave to us when we believed in the LORD Jesus Christ; and who was I to stand in God’s way? Acts 11:17

I am the Gate. Anyone who enters through Me will be safe: such a one will go in and out and will find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full. John 10:9-10

Acts 11:1-18, Psalm 42 & John 10:1-10

There are many religions in the world who conduct their rituals in ways only they can seem to understand but with God, His Son is offered to anyone that everyone can understand because He made it so simple to follow. Peter had to explain how God used even the Gentiles as a body of faith to believe in His Son’s Truth and therefore Peter could not stand in the way of God’s Divine Plan for humanity. The Jewish Christians recognized the Truth Peter shared and accepted the Divine Directions given to both Peter and Cornelius. We all must learn to follow God’s Divine Directions by seeking not our own way of living but embracing the life Christ has in store for you by your practice, prayer and preaching.

Will you stand in the way of God? Can you direct people to the Gate that everyone must enter to know Eternal Life? Jesus explains people of selfish needs and desires are like thieves in the night who come only to steal, kill and destroy. They steal for they know not His Truth. They kill for they know not His Word. They destroy for they know not His Love. The reek havoc in the pasture of life for they not the Life God has given them is full of faith, hope and love. It is our duty to show people the Gate of Life that enter into a pasture of Divine Eternal Living. By the Holy Spirit we can find the courage to accomplish anything He asks of us and more. We can find the lost sheep and direct them the Gate of Divine Love. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to never stand in Your way LORD hoping all we encounter will be directed the Gate of Truth. We pray for my children. Prayers of help for Ron’s intentions. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Amen is Truth

While Amen Amen is Proof

As Jesus explains His use

Of the Father’s Gate to prove

That all must enter by His Name

Because He is not a robber to shame

He is the Gatekeeper of Heaven’s fame

Walking ahead of the flock to gain

Entrance to the Pastures of Heaven

All must follow Christ with no beggin

You will hear His voice of eternity leavened

Bread of Eternity to Eternally guide them

An Amen Amen of God’s Truth

He is the Gate of Heaven to use

Anyone before me was a thief and robbers abuse

Enter by Me to abundant life’s proof

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-29-2012

Filled with the Holy Spirit, (Peter said) it is by the name of Jesus Christ and by no other that only in Him is there Salvation. Acts 4:8b,10d, 11d

The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge Him. 1^st John 3:1b

He runs away because he is only a hired man and has no concern for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd; I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for My sheep. John 10:13-15

Acts 4:8-12, Psalm 118, First John 3:1-2  & John 10:11-18

There are dark nights of the soul that keep searching for the Light of Truth when separated by selfishness, sin and shadows. We all must be careful not to let the darkest secrets of our souls be pains of disgust that can divert your total surrender to God’s Holy Spirit in your life. We may live a life of accepting His Salvation but we must search for His Good in every person we meet to accomplish His Will. We can rely only of the time here and now as reality to feed our future of acknowledging Him in every feeling, plans and decisions.

Amidst the rain and confusion here in Homestead, I pray what I share in brevity can and will make an impact of God’s Divine Plan for you. I too try my hardest to be called “His own” and seek to live His Truth of Salvation. Can you not run away and tend the sheep for the Father’s Glory? Or, will you be a hired hand and flee from the Challenge for Christ? He challenges us all to live a life just for Him and acknowledge His Presence in the midst of lost souls who flaunt their ignorance of His Eternal Truth. Be not ashamed of His faith, hope and love to serve the world with Christ’s Charity Charm. Amen.

Jesus gave His Titles flair

John 10 says He’s the Good Sheppard Who cares

Who’ll lay down His life for all of His sheep

Go to a Cross and didn’t weep

Hired hands are full of self

Will run away  from a wolf

Where He should have dealt

Like Jesus did with sinners

Who repent and seek help

They do not care for their sheep

Like I do since I know their peeps

Where one flock and One Shepherd will seek
